Terms of Service
Welcome to Soma + Soul Practice. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the psychological services provided by Tammy Stander and Daniel Novikov. By engaging with our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Professional Practitioners and Scope of Service
Soma + Soul is a collaborative therapeutic practice. Our practitioners operate under the following professional frameworks:
- Daniel Novikov: Provisional Psychologist, PsyBA/AHPRA, completing Master of Psychology (Clinical).
- Tammy Stander: Trauma-informed Clinical Psychotherapist, PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor, RI-EMDR therapist, EMDRAA member.
- Collaborative Approach: Person-centred and confidential.
2. Professional Status and Supervision
Provisional Oversight: Daniel is overseen by Marsha Lewellin, Board-approved clinical supervisor.
Clinical Leadership: Tammy provides on-site clinical supervision.
Session Observation: Optional, requires explicit written consent.
3. Financial Terms and Payments
Session Fees: Daniel $125 per 55-minute session, Tammy $220 per 55-minute session (incl GST).
Support Options: Tammy offers no-cost options through Victims Services for those who are eligible.
Payment: Bank transfer at session end.
Rebates: Neither practitioner is eligible for Medicare rebates. Daniel is not eligible for private health insurance rebates. Please check with your private health fund regarding coverage for Tammy’s services.
4. Cancellation and Attendance Policy
We value the therapeutic space and require mutual respect for scheduled times. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations and missed appointments will incur the full session fee.
5. Privacy, Confidentiality, and Records
Confidentiality: All personal and health information is treated with strict professional care.
Legal Limits: Confidentiality may be limited in cases of serious risk of harm or legal obligation such as a court subpoena.
Records: Personal and health information is collected for the purpose of treatment and in accordance with professional standards.
6. Emergency and Crisis Policy
Soma + Soul Practice is not a crisis service.
- Emergency: Call 000.
- Urgent Support: Lifeline 13 11 14 or NSW Mental Health Access Line 1800 011 511.
7. Intellectual Property
The “Soma + Soul” brand, including the spiral logo and all website content, is the property of the practice and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.
